From how we formulate, to how we package, ship, and show up in the world, our goal is to reduce unnecessary impact without compromising performance or experience.
But we’re also honest about what we can and can’t do as a small brand. We don’t claim perfection. Instead, we focus on thoughtful choices, small-batch production, and long-term partnerships that align with our values. Our version of “better” is an ongoing process — one rooted in transparency, not greenwashing.
Why We Chose Aluminium
We use aluminium tubes not just for their sleek feel, but because they’re infinitely recyclable. These tubes are food-grade lined and sealed to preserve freshness, and they collapse as you use them — helping reduce waste.
Finding a supplier who could accommodate our small production size was tough. It took months of back and forth, especially when we insisted on high printing quality, checking right nozzle size, and sealed tips. We didn’t cut corners, even though it would have been easier to do so.
When you’re producing in small batches, many sustainable packaging options are out of reach — either because of minimum order quantities or costs. But we’ve stayed patient. We’d rather launch slowly and intentionally than compromise on our standards.
We worked closely with our supplier to find solutions that were functional, beautiful, and lower impact — even if it meant longer lead times or smaller runs. Each choice we’ve made, from materials to packaging logistics, was carefully weighed.
A Dropper, Not a Pump
Our serum has a thick texture, and a pump would’ve made application easier. But pumps use multiple plastic parts that are hard to recycle. So, we went with a glass dropper.
The dropper works beautifully — and when the bottle starts to run low, we ask for just one extra step to get the rest out. For us, the trade-off was worth it. Less plastic. More control.
Still Learning. Still Improving.
Our outer boxes are made from uncoated paper stock. It’s fully recyclable, and we chose it for its minimal finish and reduced environmental impact.
As we grow, we’ll continue looking for better ways forward, whether that’s lighter materials or more responsible packaging options.
Sustainability, to us, is about progress. Not perfection.
